    I am going to be adding coral soon all my paramiters are perfect execpt i have a slight cyano problem caused by phosphates. Will the phophate directly affect coral

    The short answer is yes,some corals won't be so botherd and others will be and some will die fast.

    It's better to just get ahold off your phosphates and maintain them a lower level so you wont have to worry about that and help battle off your algae.
