started with a 20 gallon tank HOB .

IMHO you may be moving too quickly. You crashed one day and were loaded back up 2 week later. Other than that things look good.

 

the crash was due to salt problem.My water peramerters never were affected.I spent a week getting my salt right. It was a stupid human error in mixing salt.

Usually when people ask for parameters, salinity is included, so it is a water parameter.

Understandable. Was talking more about the chemistry other then salinity. when it crashed my ammonia. Nitrites and nitrates never were affected. Everything died because of me addIng a high consentration of salt all at once there for burning everything to death. So after I got a handle on that I felt it was fine to start adding seeing that none of the rest of ther params were affected
