    Remember, Omard, that's an army of non-paying customers. If we paid for such a service, I think the company would care more about what guys like you and I think. However I'm guessing the average user will bear with them unless the service simply becomes unreliable--which has not happened yet.

    For now, though; the management/owners are beholden only to their advertisers, and probably have us on the back burner. :-/

    i wish there was stiffer penalties for hacking.there is so much trouble and loss of money on so many sites and yet extremely few ever get caught or arrested.usualy they just get warned

    Those "non paying customers" are the ones who are paying the bills essentially. All of those banner ads where PB managment gets paid for EVERYTIME they annoy the hell out of us. Those millions of non paying customers are really paying to use their service in a sense. PB doesnt get paid unless somebody sees those ads their advertisers pay for reguardless if anybody actually buys anything from them or not.

    I don't dispute this, Geek. My point is that the dynamic is different when the product is free. If we were paying for this service, we'd be more prone to jump ship after the first offense.

    In my opinion, since it's free, those who flock to PB for a place to keep their photos are more tolerant of service disruptions.
