It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The last image in the most recent group, if you try first sharpen, decrease brightness and increase contrast the beautiful reflections should really pop.

You can increase saturation a tad too.

I play with images for hours, it gets addicting, now if I only had a decent camera.

Well my camera isn't even too good. It's a little 300 dollar fujifilm dslr. And I'll be sure to try out those techniques.

Post production processing is the way to go. You can balance out your photos for light, saturation, sharpen, soften just about anything. You can also crop the shots to get a better balance on your scene using the 1/3 (Golden) rule.

Your composition is very good. You have an eye for photography. You use the rule of 3rds pretty well, but shooting while keeping it in mind can always make for better shots. Although post processing can be the ticket to change almost any shot into what you want the real goal is to take shots that require little to no editing. Either way, keep that in mind and you are bound to see progression in your work. Im glad to see another photographer on here. Keep it up. :)

I am a Nikon fanboy so I would say just about anything Nikon that is a DSLR would get you some great results. Grim just bought a Nikon d3200 and look at those pictures.... Haha. I have a D5100 currently but hopefully Ill have a new camera body in the next year or so. If are serious about it or would like to take it a bit more seriously spending the money on the camera is a good move. You wont regret it.
