Some updated photos of current corals, also want to double check some IDs because when I posted originally they were often acclimating and not opened up nicely
This was the Ricordea when purchased about two months ago sold as a yuma but many stated it is a Florida. The owner of the store insisted it is a yuma what do you guys think with the before and after pictures?

I always thought it was two mushrooms but obviously it is still connected. How long do they take to split they have both grown massive and the connection has gotten thinner and only the larger one seems to actively eat.

Another is an Acan colony, purchased 2 colonies a month ago unknown of the species. Originally though both were Lords of different color variations but they expand differently and the feeder tentacles are very different. I only pictured the rainbow one here the purple one doesnt seem real happy today I moved it to another spot

The newest guys the first is an Aussie Fungia of some sort. Ate while acclimating!

Poor picture but settling in nicely tentacle all coming out

Finally what was sold as a Monti confusa. Im not sure if anybody could positively ID it as a confusa and am unsure if it may be a different species of monti any help appreciated.

The surface got little bumps on it Im not sure if that is the polyp extention or if I should expect more as it continues to settles (less than a day in the new tank) but regarding will take it as a sign it is adjusting well

Thanks guys. My favorites are actually the soft corals I love how they just flow.
I only have a dual t5HO light that I leave on for 12-13 hours a day so maybe they do need more light. What makes you think the ricordea need more light? They are mounted vertically towards the bottom on the side of a tank kind of shaded a little so its probably one of the lowest light spots in the tank. The bottom one is the one that cups sometimes but not always the larger top one spreads out flat I always thought if they cup a lot that means they need more light.

Anyone confirm IDs on the monti acans and ricordea? I know Im in the right genus but just want to know the specific species

Very nice corals, I think your IDs are good. The Acan is a lord.

The Ricordea is getting too much light I believe. Your light period is quite long compared to what they normally get.

So is the ricordea really a yuma or is it a florida?

I could shorten the photoperiod to 10 or 11 hours I figured since its a dual bulb fixture the extra long photoperiod would be ok. I do agree though because after it opens up all day by the time the lights go off the mushroom starts to close up but the rest of the corals seem to enjoy all the light, maybe if I get another coral I can use it to shade the mushroom
