Photos in Posts; Images vs thumbnails...

I realize that while it's cool to upload images like off of photobucket.com is nice, you see a larger picture it seems when the thumbnail expands.

You can load more than 4 photos per post using Img tags, but it seems the thumbnails lets you see a photo that seems often 50% vomume wise bigger.

Is it just me?

 

I like to load pictures myself and if reading a thread that i have to click on a tag most of the time i don't. The pictures i paste from photobucket are big enough and clear any larger they would be in 3D...lol

 

you just have to hover over the thumnails to enlarge them

 

I use the "direct link" from photobucket which shows a full message frame-width pic. If you right-click on it and select "view image", it will increase to full page. I've never found a limit to the number of pics per post that way, either.

 

yeah I post directly from photobucket. it seems much easier to me

 

I like uploading through Photobucket because it's easier to add text to the individual picture to explain what it is. It's easier to show growth shots too.

 

I posted about this a while back, too. The uploaded photos on 3Reef are much smaller than on other places, like our local WRS site. The frame area for pictures uploaded from Photobucket is smaller here because of the column on the right ---------------------->

 

So, I think Jerry is agreeing with the OP?

And, granted, it's pretty good either way, everyone, including me, really likes pics of things
