I just bought this beautiful rose bubble-tip anemone yesterday. Today I fed her a silverside which the owner told me he's been feeding her for the last 6 months. She ate it whole within 10 minutes but about an hour later, spit it back out. Photos below. Is this normal?

Maybe your feeding her to often....
I would go for every two week's for a feeding....
It is not abnormal....I think if you put something in its face it is a reaction to eat it wether it is hungry or not...maybe a defensive motion....JMO

Feed it krill instead and if you have enough light, feeding is optional. I feed frozen mysis and the water flow carries food to the anem. It eats if it needs to and ignores the food if it doesn't.

you need to give her time to adjust and acclimatise to your tank before you start feeding her

That silverside looks too big for it. Cut in 1/2 or 1/3 next time. What worries me is that it looks like it has expelled some of its zooxanthellae when it spit up the silverside. How old is your tank and what type of lighting do you have it under?
