Upgraded my lights recently. The moonlight LED looks cool but will photosynthesis occur when blue/moonlight is on? Would like to leave moonlight on when I'm at work. But I don't want it to hurt my 2 clams. I'm learning as I go and love these clams! No corals, just fish, live rock, and 2 clams.

Probably not. I have a couple led moon lights (not much light at all). I keep them on 24/7. When my halides turn off the moons are all ready on.

    You'll be fine.

Moonlights run at such a low level, and most of that is filtered by the water. And more than likely, the actual moon probably is stronger than over the ocean than the moonlights on your tank. I wouldn't worry about it.
