    Normally I wouldn't expect anyone to think about freezing live phyto unless it was only going to be used for feeding afterwards. I assumed that when the LFS person told him to freeze it that it was going to be used only to dose, not culture. That is why I specified "cryopaste" in my post.
    There are other benign products out there like Arcti-Pods but it shouldn't be frozen, only refrigerated as it is a preserved product without glycerin.

    I wasn't planning on growing it, just dosing. I knew it was dead when I started this thread. The point of my starting this thread was to see if it was still useful to feed.
