    Heh.. ;)

Yeah, Beamer....your brain...(coral that is ::)) is looking kinda sad. Is that an anemone in some of the pics? Is your brain getting stung? Hmmmm....I mean, I don't really know but...a thought.

    Good morning birdlady!

I think both are looking kind of sad this morning! ;)

Yes that is an anemone you saw. I've had it for a couple of months now but I don't think it ever got to the brain but it sure did get to my Devils Hand. Fortunately I was able to wiggle it out of the rock work and move it to the sand without my rock work collapsing. That was also about the time that I moved the brain to the sand also. I had wondered though if maybe the star polyps, ricordia or button polyps that were around it could have stung it. Anyway, it is by itself now and looks worse today.

For the first time last night after the lights went out I saw a couple of its sweepers out on the far side. Those were the only ones though. I tried to feed it some frozen squid but I think it wound up floating away before he could eat it.

Should I actually open its mouth with a turkey baster and then deliver the food or would this hurt it.

Also, areas that I may have touched while moving it or while feeding it with the baster, would this cause those areas touched to turn white/clear? I've always heard if someone is diving around corals that they shouldn't touch them or they will die. Is this what's happening here? It seems to be loosing more of its color. It was such a beautiful coral. I hope it comes back.

    Thanks birdlady!

The funny thing is since the water change this morning the brain looks better than it has in a while. It's puffier. Not anywhere near normal, but a little puff!

Thanks for the Karma, I needed a lift.
