Wow! Looking great Holly! This reminds me of the 10 gallon tank I have in my bedroom that I have been neglecting... This post just inspired me to work on it! Haha.

I for the most part let things be. lol. The only things I actually dose is Cal and Alk. I do a water change every 2 weeks, so that replenishes anything else used up. The salt I'm using is Intant Ocean. I had been meaning to get a different salt for the corals, but things are going so well I think I will just leave it. The lighting I have are 4x24w T5HO. ATI bulbs. 2 Blue+ 1 Aquablue Special, 1 Coral+. 33 Accent lighting LEDs aswell. 18 purple and 15 blue. They don't do much though... just for looks. Prizm Pro Delux protien skimmer. and Fluval 205 Canister filter running carbon. The skimmer and canister add an extra 3gals to the tank lol. And of corse I use RO/DI water. That's it though.... I don't have a fancy sump or refugium.... But I do feed all the sps phytoplankton and zooplankton quite regularly, probably a good 2 times a week! My LPS I really don't feed... they are all great growth rates without the feedings :p I just really try and find each coral teh best place in the tank. All SPS are up high close to lighting and in high flow areas. All LPS are down low in low flow areas. The star polyps, blue snowflakes and zoas, they really don't care where they are placed I find lol As long as they get some kind of flow that isn't blasting and have enough light. Ever since I got into SPS, softies are ssssoooooooo easy to care for! lol or at least, they are in my tank lol.

Love the before and after shots! Being new to reefs I see all these small frags and now I see what they can turn into. These pics are really a motivator to get my tank going!! Nice work they look amazing.

Thanks! It certainly amazing how fast they can grow if you give them prime living conditions :p

    Here's the FTS :)

Here is a before and after pic of my Hairy Acro that I forgot :p Not much growth at all on this guy yet. A little encrusting though. This was a frag that I bought for $20 while it was on it's way out with fresh tissue ressession. I thought it looked sooo cool and that if I could bring it back it would be a beautiful addition. 1/4 of it's skeleton was already dead and still receeding. This is the before pic after fragging off teh dead skeleton above the ressession and gluing it in place and hoping for the best!

This was taking today (roughly 2 months later)! Nice color change and starting to encrust.. no more ressession! Has completely recovered! :D
