Each day brings new and wonder "sightings" in tank...this is about the "coolest" so far.

Caught my eye just before going to bed last night when lights were shutdown...was initially just astounded...wondered where did that "other" crab come from????- till I figured out what was going on...

Ms. Arrowcrab in "new clothes"!--- "pretty" isn't she? :)

How often do they do this?...she is has been one of the most "voracious" algae eaters in the tank...(next to tang)...am getting worried now, there is not enough left about for them to eat...esp. after adding new skimmer...when should I worry about doing so? (feeding?)

    Rgds...

Thanks for link Karla...is just wonderful to find web so full of great info on all these tank residents...

Guess I am going to have to accept fact that all are at some risk from others..r.e. "Arrow Crabs may feed on small feather dusters.."

Everyone in there is at some risk from others..either directly or indirectly.

    We "watch" - "read" - & "learn"

One thing you can do for feeding if you're worried about not enough algae for both of them is to buy a clip and put some dried seaweed/algae in for both of them.......i know that i've used it with my tangs before and they just love the stuff

I read somewhere that arrowheads use their head as a spear to catch a fish to eat.
