added a hammer about a week ago. will get a fts this week sometime. i run basically just floss for filteration, it traps tons of crap, change it out 2-3x/week. i also run a second hob with some macro algea. wc's done once a week. 1litre max.

I have the very same tank but it doesn't look anything like this! This looks awesome!

I did notice you bought another filter for the side. Maybe I need to do that too. Are you just running the carbon filter than came with it? I see you have coraline algea on the sides and it's so hard to clean on that acrylic. So how do you keep the glass clean without scratching it?

i took the carbon out. bought some sea pora poly pad and cut to size. change it out 3x a week. i have an urchin in there and he (i hope) will take care of the coraline on the glass. got n e pics of urs? how long has it been set up for?

Here is a picture of the tank a month ago. It has nothing in it yet like yours. All we had then was a live rock with a couple blue legged crabs and one snail. We put in one small xenia to see if it would live. After seeing yours I think I will get another filter for the side and put in some zoas frags from our 75 gallon. We have been running it since November 2009. I haven't heard about sea pora poly pad before but I will check into getting some. Your tank is an inspiration. :)
