Looks like a percula to me due to the color of its eye, though I can't see the specific number of dorsal spines.

I would also list it as either Grade B or C, due to the fact that it only has on line connected on one side. Grade A usually has at least 3 lines connected on one side and two on the other, if not 3 on both.

Pretty sure 10 means Amphiron Ocellaris, my friend! But Grade C for sure. Not a whole lot of black going on. Where'd you pick it up? And for how much, if you don't mind my asking?

I bought it at The Fish Store at Fort Pierce, FL. for $56.99, What you think?

And is it 10 dorsal spines percula? or so it says in a website I read, and in this site too True VS False Percula Clownfishes - How Can You Tell Which is Which?

Occies and Percs are very difficutl to tell apart. To make matters even more complicated I have recently heard discussion that a third similiar species is believes to have been discovered that is actually a naturally occuring hybrid of the occie and perc.

Basically it is almost impossible to tell which you have as they share very similar traits and some occies resembles percs and vice versa, esp at a small size like yours. The good news is the care is the exact same so no need to worry, jsut enjoy your new fish!!

Ocellaris usually have 11, True Percula usually have 10. Additionally, the fish in the pictures has a yellow ring around its eye, which is true of percs, while ocellaris have a black eyes.
