What would be the choice Tang for a Reef tank?????

You know one that's not too sensitive ,aggressive or any other problematic issues for these fish.

I wanted to get a purple, but just read that someone had them nip at their cleaner shrimp! don,t want that

So tell me which would be the best choice

Thanks all and HAPPY NEW YEAR

I really like Brown Scopus, they are very active and are a nice contrast to the typical Yellow or Blue, and pretty hardy to boot.

My favorite tang is the powder blue (next fish I get) but I read its a bit sensitive. The one I would recommend if you dont have is a yellow tang. They might be common but they sure are nice and add color to your tank.

I would like to have a Powder Blue >alot!

But all information points to that they are best left in the ocean.

What about a Kole tang? They come i either red with whitish lines or blue with whitish dots. They stay small and arent very aggresive

A Naso or a White-Faced Tang is a nice addition. Really every fish has its own unique personality and just because you heard that someones Purple Tang nipped at a cleaner shrimp means that they all do that!

What type do you like ? They all need good water quality thats the leading people have in keeping them disease free as for aggression all have their moments So I'd say it more about what you want.
