    Just an update for all of you who were really into the pink and blue polyp encrusting monti, Jason is calling it the JF violet orange grove monti... So now that you have a name, keep your eyes peeled if your really looking for one :eek:

    Positive on the encrusting... I am no expert so I dont know down to the species for 100% positive... if i had to take a gander i would say maybe a M. mollis or maybe a nodosa? who knows? The superman monti has the closest sized polyps but the violet orange grove has no ridges between polyps as far as skeleton pattern goes.

    But like i said, I am far from an expert and there are SO MANY encrusting types haha, so its only a guess!

    Looks similar to the Mystic Sunset monti. Sweet whatever it is.

    Your guess would be better than mine. So long as it's NOT a cap, I'm happy. They just take up too much real estate in a tank. :)

    Totally agreed! I have demoted all of mine to tiny frags again and only 1" off the floor lol

    I've seen a very similar colored monti called Mystic Sunset or Reverse Superman.

    Very pretty colors.

    Does anybody happen to know where one of these could be ordered? or do you plan on doing frags at one point? Really interested in getting one.
