picked up 2 new corals today

went to the LFS today and go a mushroom rock really cool looking teal mushrooms .... and i got a hammer frag with 2 heads

one thing should i place my hammer in the sand and let him have a medium amount of flow ??? i have Metal Halide lights and i was thinking if hes to high it might be too much light for him any suggestions ???

and one thing i thought was awesome about the mushrooms rock is there is a bright orange crab hiding inside the rock which i will try to get a picture of and underneth the rock there is a muscle ill get pictures later once the corals come out and dont seem as stressed from the transformation

here are the shrooms !!! anyone know the reasoning behind the stuff coming out their mouths???? i had just fed my corals would that have anythign to do with it ?

idk why but they havent fully came out yet since i have put them in ... theyve just stayed that way since i put them in

 

Nice shrooms.

Those are it's defenses, when they get bumped or are generally mad they will spit out those "guts". it's a defensive measure.they should go back in after a while.
