    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's a beautiful clam, great color.

    I have allowed both mushrooms and xenia to grow on my Crocea in the past, did not bother the clam in the least, but I do not recommend it because you never know what mushrooms may be a problem and down the line cleaning the corals off the clam is stressful to the clam.

    I will not put any xenia in the tank I learned my lesson from old tank. I don't have any sps and maybe ill try a frag next too it

    Howdy,

    Consider the clams mantle, then let nothing with in 3 inches near it for the first few weeks, this allows the clam time to acclimate to your water. Anthellia, and the like are harmless, but other corals can cause problems- but if a clam (most clams) sense problems near by, they will close rapidly, thus blowing water and usually spooking off any would be problem- but not always. Most coral are not interested in a clam diner- but many inverts and fish are- consider this.
