Hi everyone, My lights are burning out and I would like to upgrade. We recently rescued another great dane and don't want to spend much.
I found a used coralife 72'' Pro. It has three 150w HQl metal H and four 96 w power compacts. Picking it up for 300.00 Any thoughts? All bulbs were updated in the last 7months. My tank is 24'' deep so I think this should be mint for almost all corals?

Still have current T5s which will add two 54w . Will I need these?

    Thanks !!!!!!!!!

just be careful with the time you burn the new lights ,if you have corals it can bleach them if the burn is to intense, you should have pleny of light without the 5s

FTR, PC bulbs lose their spectrum in only 6 months, so they may need to be replaced.

at first they will open like crazy loving the mh lights and they will burn quickly so, i would say 3 on 2 off 3 on then close for the night after two weeks 4 on 1 off 4 on then off for the night then after two weeks 7 on then off for the night after 3 weeks normal lighting, yes 300 is ok deal you can replace one bulb ata time
