So ive been doing my research on bubble tips and found a deal and am going to pull the trigger and pick one up tomorrow. Looking for any tips from people that have had them with success or things you did that you wish you didnt do. My biggest concern is it may sting my lps so I know to monitor and move lps out of its way while finding a spot and im going to anemone proof my korilias. But any other words of wisdom, and tips for acclimating?

Is your tank mature and stable? Nems don't fair very well with the parameter swings and nutrient spikes inherent of a newly established system.

I've always used the turkey baster method for acclimation. The drip method will work, as well.

Place the nem in your tank with a net, or at least wear gloves. Many do not have a reaction, but speaking from experience, it's not very pleasant learning the hard way that you're allergic to anemone stings.

I have 2 BTA's, one G, one R, and a Maxi mini Carpetr anenome. Acquired at different times.

I choose a spot for them each, and they pretty much stay there.

I spot feed them pellets, and/or frozen blend, small amounts every week or so.

None have split yet and I've had them all over a year.

They are all healthy though. You can see them in the DT vid in my signature
