I ended up going with a yellow clown goby. Not much in stock for pico-friendly livestock in the area. I am going to monitor params for a few weeks and may still add one of the pygmy gobies next time I have to order from liveaquaria :)

but live aquaria charges a fortune to ship and a minimum of 30$ order

Yup, but if I am already planning on making an order for some obscure livestock not easily found locally and an odd divers-den piece or two tacking on an extra tiny goby won't hurt :)

My fiance saw me looking at them and conversely looked up how much they were. I think if she saw one in the tank my murder would be afoot

I wish you lived closer. My LFS can get them all day long for around 50 bucks

Bummer :( There are a couple good places up here but the only one that does any volume of fish charges an arm and a let. Seriously hoping the scene gets better in CT.

Nifty, I would kill for a place like that around here. Hopefully have my aggressive tank setup in the next couple weeks and will make the order once it is cycled.

yeah he's a cool guy. he just kinda charges based on what he pays and not what people tell him it should cost. Really good for the hobbiest.
