    I know exactly what you're talking about with the pods. I started out never seeing them but now I can look in at any hour of the day and see them scurrying about. It's kinda cool.

    Update...Good news..The little guy ate some mysis shrimp and a few flakes!! He seems to really like sitting on top of that small powerhead i have in there. I dont know if it is the vibration, or the heat.

    it is indeed and they get huge if allowed to- they shed skin just like larger relatives do and I see some casts that must be 6 -8mm

    if it where a 30 , I would have ultimately had one I reckon, but a 5 with no sump, I would have to culture pods elsewhere to ensure the little guy didnt eat them faster than they reproduce.

    now thats a good sign indeed
