Alright! I was changing the water and I decided to put them together to see how it will look. I am gonna have to make more after all. I also took some pictures. It's dark so it's not very clear.

Tell me what you guys think :)

    I like the last one.

I'm a big fan of using a masonary drill bit and going nuts on rocks - making them porous and realistic looking. (Wear gloves!) That's what I did. You should try it out!

Looks awesome! Can you give the particulars on the recipe you used? I'm planning on doing this myself in the next couple of weeks.

I just realized that this is my first post. Hello everyone!

I used portland cement type II&III and crushed oyster shell. You can use sand or crushed coral in the mix if you want, but COS is cheaper for me.

I did 1 part cement with 4 part COS. Others did 1:5, but that feel too good to me so I did the 1:4.

Thanks! I bought white portland cement, and crushed oyster shell. I'll try 1:4 ratio first to make sure the rock is strong enough for the base, then go 1:5 for rocks that will be higher up. Hopefully I'll get to do this soon. So little time when you have a toddler! I'll post pics when its done.
