    i will put a video of him swimming and eating from my hand soon. there is no corraline because it is all marco rock base rock. the tank has been established for about 3 months now.

    haha.. i saw a sting ray at my lfs last week.. i was really tempted to get it but i really dont have space for it in my tank.. but they heck look cool.. congrats on your new additions :)

    Brill=brilliant I believe, crazy islanders over across the pond. ;)

    Do you have other food available for the ray or do sand eels fit the full nutritional profile needed for rays? I don't know much about rays, and less about sand eels. ;D

    watch out for what you add to the tank. certain things will attack a stringrays eyes when laying under sandbed.. I forget what maybe crabs or certain fish.. just fYi.

    I had a blue spotted back in 1999, in my 55g.. no LR though. it lasted for about 1 year I recall. watch your arm when reaching in tank to clean, had my ray brush against my arm with its tail 1 time. got lucky..

    the sand eels provide adequate nutrition for the ray but i am looking into what else i can feed him

    3 months? ok. i know that puffers and some tangs will pick at the eyes thinking they are a food source. so just watch out for that.

    trust me i have watched this tank like a ninja. the tangs are babies and the rabbitfish is also pretty small
