I wish! I have been making DIY rock first. That part is done, but they are still curing. They should be fully cured in 2 weeks. Then I will kick this up a notch. I need to get some money together for a sump pump, heater and a Wave2k. Hopefully by the time the rock is ready, I will have figured that out.

Then I am going up the coast for sand and water. THEN, I will have some cool updates. I can't wait!!

    Hey Matt,

How's it going with your sunlit tank? I am really stoked about the whole sunlight thing. I think you are going to have to add some kind of light to it, eventually; but that is just my opinion. The reason I think that is that the sunlight going through all that glass is going to lose a lot of its total spectrum, and you may be in for a surprise when it comes to growing corals in there.

    Hmmm. We'll see. [smiley=grin3.gif]

At any rate, be sure and keep us posted!!!

    Hey Wrassman -

I hear what you are saying about the window thing, but I got my fingers crossed and a good vibe about it. Oh and a 10k halide on backup. ;D

To tell the truth, I am more worried about controling the temp in there.

Looking forward to figuring it out though. All I need is more MONEY! As it is my rock is ready, but now I have to go to 'HighOaks' wedding the end of this month! (Man couldn't you have it some where that wasn't 2,000 miles away! ;) J/K )

When I get back, I'll probably get the little hex going right away and then start on the big tank.

    CAN'T WAIT. It's been a while!

Dude! This thread is ancient. I don't live there anymore and the floor was not level and cracked the tank.
