Hey, how do you deal with equipement in a 2.5g? How do you run one?

 

well when that one was up and running i made my own overflows out of....... some type of plastic ;D and plummed them both(had 2) to a 10 gallon sump, in the sump had nothing but cleaner clams. it was pretty neat actually. and i had the red sea nano filter with caron.

also for flow i had the Fission nano skimmer pump, threw away the POS skimmer....

 

So you just removed the skimmer from the pump and used that? Cool. Good idea. Did you have to put a regulator on the pump? Looking at the specs, it does 84GPH. That would still be a lot for a........maybe not. Now that I think about it, I am running 2600GPH in a 75g. OK, I'm a dork.

 

lol, ya actually i put like a cloth thing around the part where the water is sucked up, worked really well
