Love the tank Jim - so you have a 250w halide on a 29g? Is that right? How are you dealing with heat and evap? Might help others to know your techniques there..

    Hey, thanks Matt!
I also wanted to say its pretty awesome that I'm on the home page ;D. Thanks again!
It's actually only a 20g not a 29. And yep, it is a 250w MH. Heat really isn't an issue. The MH doesn't come on til 6:00pm which is when my house starts to cool down pretty good. My wife and kids are home all day so the ac is constantly running anyways. The tank usually stays between 79 and 81. Evaporation on the other hand is pretty bad. I lose almost a gallon a day. Which is a pain since my sump/fuge is just another 20g that has no baffles to keep the skimmer in a constant water level. I only have a sheet of eggcrate dividing the fuge side and skimmer/return pump side. But even with the water level constantly changing that Bubble Magus still rocks!

I love my Bubble Magus skimmer too... sounds like you need an ATO at a gallon a day! Be worth it for that cool tank, and easy since you have a sump.. I'm sure it is on your list. :)
