I bought a frogspawn today! It has 3 heads, and fully opened within 2 hours of being in my tank! It looks great!

I moved my hammer head frag to the left, and put the frogspawn in its place. Not sure If im going to leave it like that, I was planning on putting the frogspawn in the "bowl" on the rock to the right of it.

Had to put this pic in cause it has all 4 of my fish in the shot, which I have never got before!

    Enjoy!

very nice! I think after I trade with homegrown for the xenia, frogspawn is going to be my next coral. I love them!

Looks nice but you sure that's frogspawn? Looks almost more like a torch with the smoother polyps

Thanks! I love them too! All of the wavy tentacle type LPS corals for that matter! I have the hammer head & frogspawn so far(which are my 2 fav corals in my tank), my next coral will be a torch, bubble, or elegance!

I have no idea! If my LFS calls it a purple cow coral, its a purple cow coral in my mind! Im no marine biologist....

It seems like the torches I have seen, the "tentacle" were much thiner & straight with just a small bright white dot on the end of each "tentacle."

I can see where you can get that. It does look torch like, can we see a close up pic? Looks nice though. Thanks for sharing. Are you planning on upgrading your tank size anytime soon? That Regal Tang is gonna need some swimming room soon. Good luck ! Keep us posted. :)

I took about 100 pics of the frogspawn today trying to get clears pics. I'll look through them and see if I can find a semi-clear close up.

As for upgrading. I do plan on upgrading to a 150-180, but not for a year or so. I intentionally bought my fish very small, so they have some growing room. My blue tank is only 1.5" long. I feed very conservatively, so he should be good for a while!
