    And yep, thats Cyano :-/ check your mag, O2 (add an airstone for safety and extra O2), check nitrates and ammonia ;)

    No chem's needed, more flow is the best way to remove it.

    i tryed to turn the flow up but the littlest ajustment and the sand starts blown around

    Try aiming your powerheads towards the surface slightly.

    If all else fails ( increased water movement, water parameters normal, cut down on feeding etc) I have used ULTRA LIFE RED SLIME Remover and I had great success and other people on the site have had the same success it really works and I have not seen any red junk in my tank since I treated it . Don't forget it is not an algae it is a bacteria. That product did not harm any corals ,fish, inverts, etc in my tank by the way.

    I raised my mag, O2, and flow. That got rid of it, quick too :D
