It's not much but its getting there.

Well I figured I better start posting some pictures of my soon to be set up reef tank. So I will start with this picture here.
I have a few more things to buy for it today and then it will be time to take down the 29 gallon freshwater tank to make room for the 75.

I still haven't figured out how to get a bigger picture posted so I will tell you what is in the picture.

75 gallon acrylic reef ready tank
    Oak canopy and stand
    Aqua C EV180 skimmer
    Coralife programmable timer
    80# of Caribsea Aragonite
    10# of Caribsea Aragalive
    Mag7 pump
JBJ 48" PC Retrofit in canopy (for now)
2 5 gallon jugs for water changes (more to come)
And a check valve sitting on top of the canoopy

I am going to Aquatica today to buy a 30 gallon for my sump, 2 150w heaters and 1 Quit One 4000.

That should get me going until my tax return when I can get all the base rock for the tank and start putting it together. More pictures to come

my 29 gallon has 2 black veil angels, 3 cory cats, 3 bloodfin tetras and 2 pictus cats.
my 30 gallon is going to be turned into my sump/fuge

As far as changing the background from blue to black I cant. its built into the back acrylic and I dont want to paint it. My friend has the same tank with the black background and it looks good but I wanted something a little brighter like the tanks at my LFS. They all look so bright when lit up.

Looks good so far! (BTW, when the posted picture is a thumbnail, all the viewer has to do is click on the pic and it gives the enlarged view)

no problem, The reason I wanted the oak is because everything in my house is oak so black would not look right IMHO
