    I am, that's subtitute till then. and yes the rocks are red.... yea not the beest but it'll have to do till I can go to LFS

    +3 look forward to seeing your progress. The lava rocks can sometimes be a source f heavy metals though. For an inexpensive rock, tufa is probably safer, but some people use lava with no problems.

    I've used the lava rocks in my previous freshwater tanks :D of course they got a really good scrubbing b4 they were put into the tank
