    Does the top over your sump prevent the cheato from growing at all? I wanna put a piece of acrylic over it but I want it to continue to grow.

    I havent had any problems with it, it still seems to grow fine, nice and green.

    Would you describe your sump set up for me. I'm on a learning curve. I can see the picture shows your protein skimmer. Is that a top-off set up? Is the flow (1) from the tank, through the skimmer, through the refugium and back into tank?

    Very beautiful tank, invertebrates and fish.
