    The overflow dumps into the first chamber, (far left) flows thru filter pad/bio balls, then into the middle chamber which contains mineral mud, cope pods, snails and cheato, then into the last chamber on far right which contains the return pump, skimmer, and auto top off. The skimmer acts on its own skimming the water that is in the last chamber waiting to be sent back to the main tank. It may not be the most efficient way to run, but I haven't had any problems with it. What works for me may not work for someone else as well.

    Nice looking tank. How about a full tank shot from the front or something so we can get a better look at the whole setup.
