Definitely aiptasia. Get it while you can. Do a search on aiptasia for methods to remove.

Nice looking tank adnuces. Congrats !

When you stacked your rocks did you lean them against the back of the tank (touching the glass)? I'm asking only because I'm setting my tank up in the next little while and I just wanted to know how I should be stacking my rock without screwing up.

No the rock isn't glued together or leaning. In fact I left a good 6-8 inches of clearance at the back and about 8 inches in front and sides. It is very stable right now but b efore I put snails etc in I will drill through the top piece into the bottom and insert a pvc pipe rod to ensure it doesn't fall over. that way it should be very stable. The pvc will go through to a t joint that will add additional stability.

I will get some Joe's Juice and eradicate that sucker today......

Nice setup, so far so good.

Looks like it has a lot of tentacles. I just eradicated one yesterday. The little bastard thought it would be neat to attach to a small star polyp frag and when he did, boy did I isolate that frag. I spotted him and to my surprise, those bastards turn into a brownish goop to hide, luckily it can be easily spotted. I removed it gently with a small flat screwdriver and it really looked mucosy.

I had a bunch of Aiptasia all over the place in my tank, I got 10 peppermint shrimp and put them in the tank and low and behold I'll be damned if I can find a single Aiptasia in my tank now.;D ;D ;D ;D

I get rid of them with a syringe and and white vinegar. Shoot a little bit to them and they genreally just fall off.
