    Where does it come from? I have some In my tank, And alot in my sump/fuge growin on the glass.

    Do you mean how did it get into your tank? They usually hitch hike on live rock/rubble/coral frags and just about anything else from your LFS's tanks. They are beneficial and help filter the water for ya.

    Edit: I Might be wrong it might not be pineapple sponge, I kept looking up pics and some look just like it, and others look nothing like it at all. hmmmmmmmmm

    I've got them growing all over my tank and especially my fuge too.

    are they little white guys? cause those are just another harmless filter feeder. pretty sure its a sponge. cant remember what its called.

    I had an outbreak of them after my tank started settling in. They were COVERING my sump/skimmer and the underside of all my LR. They slowly just faded away though and now there are just a couple here and there.
