pink bubble brittle star looses leg!

    Update w/ PICS :)

    18 days and counting.... I can't believe this thing is still going. I keep expecting to wake up and find him decaying, but instead i find him in a different part of the fuge. My fuge's flow is so slow that you cannot tell the water is even moving unless you touch the glass it's overflowing on, so i dont think the water movement is moving him. I am able to still watch him try to "eat" lol. I may have to give him/her a name soon...

    Stuff monster movies are made of!!!!

    You best lock your bedroom door at night. Honestly few things creep me out, but brittle star legs and goul fish are at the top of the list.

    Sometimes legs regenerate into new stars. Not sure if it works with this species though. Be pretty cool if it did. :)

    I am going to keep it to to find out! I don't think its possible as it doesn't have a "mouth," but everytime i check the fuge it has relocated to a different area.
