    Not positive but that looks like an acro or monti crab. If it never leaves the coral then I would be certain. Probably part of the porcelain crab family. Should be safe.

    thanks, yea when i got some corals in he was on it and scared the crap out of me. He never leaves the stylophora hes on so he must be what you are saying. What does he eat?

    I think he eats whatever he can capture that sticks to the coral. So he should be providing a cleaning service to the coral.
