pink pom pom xenia not doing well

    he wont open guys idk y my parameters are

    PH 8.4

    Ammonia 0

    Nitrate 0

    Alkalinity is normal

    Calcium 420

    Salinity 1.024

    hes in a 55 gal tank with 2 250w metal halides 1 T5 actenic and 1 regular day light T5 i turned off my metal halides thinking maybie it was to bright i dont now tho but hes usually just fine. the first pic is the one that is doing good hes a diffrent tipe of xenia its the more common kind forgot name. the second is the one that im worried about. my tank is a year old and has coraline growth on it allot of it. it can handle anythin, in the pic that has thos spots on it its algae on my glass i all :)

    maybe salinity is to low...corals thrive around 1.026-027 thats my only guess or to much light for the little guy?

    Did you try to move the coral to a diffrent flow?

    I would like to know this also as to why in my tank it will not survive... only thing I was told you have too clean of water. and that was it.

    ive had him for like a month and a half hes ben just fine till today allso last night he was opend up with moon lites on. this morning whene i went to turn my lites on tho he was just all shrivild up like that so idk whats going on is he haveing a hard day or sumthing? allso i was on vacation and wasnt home to give them dts reef blend so cuild he be hungry for some reef blend? i got home last night. but idk why he is acting funny now cuz he was open last night none of my uther corals are mad

    diffrent xenia is harder then uthers just gotta let your tank mature to have xenia like this allso gotta buy heathy frags

    ya i moved him once to a low flow area for 2 hours and nuthing happend so i moved him back to the mid flow with mid light
