    im thinking of ordering one of these for my tanks 1 yr anniversary , but keep it quiet , its a secret. lol. does anyone have any experience with these? more in regards to difficulties in their movement , ive reqd they are somewhat akin to a nem. they look great but want to weigh out the pros and cons before getting one. and 1st hand experience is always the best, thnx in advance.

    I saw one and it was awesome.
    I had a short tentacle and they're very easy.

    thnx av8. it looked really cool. it sounds like its fairly easy coral. photosynthetic, feed it periodically. even surround it with small rubble to keep it from movin too much

    Not sure how much those long tentacles can move but I never noticed my fungia move.
    They're such slow movers not sure if it could really move much before you noticed.

    I have a pink rim Fungai and it hasnt opened up yet it has been here about 4 days now. When they do open up they are very pretty and I have read several doc's on them and they move slow and are easy to keep. good luck
