My boyfriend and I were watching Blue Planet- on discovery or science channel-about reef corals. Anyways pipefish were on there. They looked pretty cool and I have seen them for sale on different websites. Would anybody recommend these fish. I have a list of all my fishies and coral in my signature- would they be compatible with what I have?

    Thanks for the help guys!

I wouldn't recommend it. Too much competition for food with the fish you've got already and if this fish doesn't eat every day, it will die.

Thanks- do you know what they eat- I have heard very little about them. If they eat algae- especially hair algae I've got an over abdunance of that.

They are akin to seahorses and they will only eat live or frozen mysis or brine shrimp.

I was only saying that from what I see of them when I am on the water... so not true aquaria advice.
