Pistol and Orange Spot paired!

    they wandered around the tank oblivious to each other for a couple weeks... then the pistol was just out in the open for 2 days, got some great shots of it and then disappeared. This whole time, the goby was building a burrow and the pistol found it. I verified this morning!

    I'm sorry for the bad pic... it's next to impossible to get a clear shot at an angle and down a hole. If you look toward the rear half of the goby, you can see the red stripes of the pistol.

    Kind of... they're at the back of the cave, so I can see them if I try. At least the orange spot. I try to squirt food back there when I feed the tank to make sure they can eat. Interestingly, the Fire Shrimp also hangs out near there, but they seem to get along just fine.

    I'm definitely excited about it... I just enjoy knowing that the pistol wasn't gobbled up and that a safe home has been found. Plus, I'm sure the goby is happier with a partner in crime.
