    Hey all,

I just recently (4 days ago ) added a Tiger Shrimp/Watchman Goby pair to my 30gal with 2 small clowns. They seem to be doing well but it appears that my shrimp is burying them in their burrow. This happened on the first day and concerned me so I dug a little and uncovered the burrow entrance under a rock. Within a short time the shrimp was at work with the goby guarding. When I checked them this morning, the burrow entrance is completely covered with no sign of either. Is this typical behavior or should I be concerned?

Mine bury themselves every night. The first full day they paired they were buried together almost the whole day. Now they bury themselves pretty much just at night, but they do close up all the holes.

This sounds like my tank! It is 37g. I have a tiger/watchman pair and had 2 clowns until 1 jumped. The shrimp is constantly opening and closing holes. They are stonger than you think.. My pistol can steal whole frag plugs and make barriers to his holes that he closes. I don't always see them either. He is probably off at work digging his underground layer. They grow pretty quick too.
