    Hi All,

We have a couple of pistol shrimp in our tank that came in the live rock. One is growing and we see him out a lot. We just lost our peppermint shrimp and I believe it was at the mercy of the big pistol. We have 2 clowns in the tank and are wondering if its best to remove the pistols before they kill any fish? Any advice.

No danger to fish. Normally they find most of their food by sifting through the sand, keeping it sparkly clean. We've had our pistol for 8 months, and we have 6 fish in the tank. None have been harmed. However, we have lost pep shrimp to him. He's never bothered our cleaner shrimp, but I believe the pep shrimp in our tank now is number 6 ::)

I wouldn't worry about them. Maybe buy a yellow watchman (what we have). He'll probably pair up with a shrimp, it's so cool to watch!
