Pistol Shrimp pairing question

I wonder if Diamond Gobies don't just end up sharing burrows with the larger species of pistol shrimp, like the tiger pistol. It may not be the full symbiosis that is seen with the other shrimp gobies.

All of the Diamond Gobies I've seen in tanks have always spent a lot of time out sifting sand and looking for food whereas my Yasha goby rarely strays further than an inch or two from the burrow except when there's food in the water and she's hungry.

Just speculation of course...
