    the pistol shrimp they do better if they are paird up with the type of goby they go with. some can get quite aggressive but depending on what shrimp depends on what goby. its a pretty neat relationship if youve ever heard of it. heres one example shrimp goby combo

    but the cleaners are great to. i think they show more curoiusty then fear but if you get one its better to get a 2nd. some will hide more if its the only one but if you get em a buddy they will be out all the time. also with 2 cleaners they will spawn on a regular basis which makes a great treat for your fish

    yea i got the shrimp because i was planning on getting a goby but i had to bring him back to the LFS he was digging my entire tank up. i put him in the tank and 2 min later there was a cloud of sand. i woke up the next morning and there was a mountain of sand in my tank. not a hill i had Mt Everest in my tank

    haha i know what you mean i got a pair of engineer gobies and they live up to there name i got new hills and valleys every day

    My engineer gobies got to be 10" in length and as big in diameter as a nickel. They were 2" when I got them. Prodigious diggers!

    Nope, they went back to the LFS and a bigger home.

    ya mine are full grown now i would say there 10-12 inches just like yours but i im keeping mine they have plenty of room and rock to hide under. there doin a pretty good job of keeping that sand rotated i can say that much
