Not sure if this is correct or not. When I get mine they come out of the box room and tanks lights are off float 25 mins start adding 2mil of water ever few mins and put in place so far so good after a hour turn moonlights on 20 mins later full light.

 

thanks JJL and Shoebx. it kinda sounds like the same acclimation I usually do but Ill just do it longer. I live right next to my lfs where i buy my saltwater so I keep it at the same temp and SG as them so I usually do pretty fast acclimations, so Ill just slow it down. thanks again

 

My coral acclimation routine:
Temp acclimate (float) for 20-25 min (do not open the bag)
Use a dip in accords with the Manufactures instructions (like CoralRX for 5-10 min)
Rinse off coral with discarded tank water (to get rid of any dip remnants)
Place in tank

I do nothing else special. I've never lost a coral due to an obvious acclimation issue.

thanks I will pick up some coral dip, I havnt used any befor because I usually get pretty easy corals but for the more sensitive ones Im starting to get I want to make sure I do it right

 

If you want you could also ask Liveaquaria if they dip before sending it out because if they do it will save you time, money, and your coral's stress.If you do not hear from them/do not trust them fully then I guess you should be safe and do a dip in Coral Rx or Revive

thanks, I am sure I could ask them and get a response, there was a problem with my order so I had to Email them and they were very fast to respond and we got the problem worked out, It was a problem with my card but the only bad thing is it wont be shipped until tomorrow so I will just have to wait an extra day.

Thanks kcbrad, I just did a brief read on acro crabs a little while ago, I forget though, Im pretty sure theyre good to have right?

 

Beautiful adds, temp acclimated for 15 minutes, dip in ReVive, Coral Rx or iodine for another 10 minutes and into the tank for light acclimation.

The coral that I ordered were both wysiwyg so I am confused as to why they have to wait for a new shipment to arrive befor they can send it, anyone have any ideas
