I am thinking about getting a 72 Bow with overflow and a 125 with overflow.

Anyone know some good places in Chicago. I checked out PetCo's near my apt and work and none have overflow tanks. There is a LFS called Aquarium World (maybe Aqua World) on Lincoln (with I have to admit, crappy everything) and they quoted about $480 for the 125RR and $280 for the 72RR neither with stand.

Not sure if it is close to you but what about Old Town. We visited there when we went to IMAC and I was impressed. The didnt have and AGA tanks on display only acrylic if I recall but maybe they can order them for you.

They are close to my work via bike. I've been meaning to check that place out.

Old Town is a nice looking store. Ain't cheap though. As nothing is in the 'Gold Coast' of Chicago. Except 'Five Faces' burritos on Division street. Oh the memories. ;D

'Living Sea' Aquarium store out near O'Hare airport has a lot of tanks.

    'Scott's' in Weshester is another.

I am sure there are others that are new, but that's the info from 5 years ago when I last lived there.

hmmmmmm....For what I remember Old Town was much cheaper, drygoods and livestock, than what I think was Living Sea(the one with the shark pool?).

    Worth a look.
I'd be surprised though. Living Sea has a whole room with tanks for sale anyway.

I just hit up Old Town. It was nice. Expensive but nice. Online ordering looks really sweet after visiting a bunch of LFS
