If you place a small coral such as the one in the picture into a small hole in the rock with a snug fit can it restrict the coral groth over time? will it out grow that hole. or will it just adapt and spread over the hole. should i take it out of the hole and just glue it straight to the rock. not in a hole.

that is a torch coral..i would have it glued to the rock.... if it were a zoa, or any other kind of encrusting coral i would place it in the whole and let it do its thing..
