so i dunno how many of you have a blu ray player. I have an HD projector and just bought a playstation3 (primarily for the blu ray) and i recently purchased the highly acclaimed "planet earth" series from the bbc. I popped in the "ocean" disc and could not believe what i saw. I have a 130 inch screen and i sat in the dark for 20 minutes with my jaw in my lap. I have never witnessed such an awesome spectacle of ocean beauty. I kid you not, it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. If you know of anyone who has this and a blu ray go watch it. Im serious, it really made an impact on me. They did such an awesome job on this series (and the other planet discs are just as unbelievable.

I agree! Excellent and mind blowing photography.

Would also recommend "Deep Blue" currently showing on the Discovery Channel.

I've watched both with my 6 year old son who, as a result, has really grown to love and appreciate our planet and all of it's inhabitants. So, if you got kids.....
