I was considering starting to feed my lps's Marine Plankton and also using BioPlankton (Phytoplankton) for feather dusters and whatever else might enjoy it. My question for those of you who use any of these additives now is do I have to turn my pumps, filters and skimmers off when I feed?

I turn off my skimmer for 1 - 2 hours using a relay on a count down timer.
